T.M. Atiqur Rahman is currently working in Strucbit Engineering Solution Limited as a Structural Engineer. T. M. Atiqur Rahman received his B.Sc. in Civil Engineering degree from Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) on April, 2015. He is working for structural analysis, structural integrity assessment of RMG buildings, coordinating with clients and his subordinates for solving critical problems of civil engineering projects, seismic retrofitting of existing structures. He has already completed several projects successfully with his team of subordinates for both design and construction phases and he is currently involved in several projects with Strucbit Engineering Solution Limited.

He was involved in several projects- among those 4-storied Ramu Cantonment Public School and College, Ramu, Cox’s Bazar, two 7-storied residential buildings in Gazipur and Rangpur are the notable ones. He is interested in earthquake resistant building design of Structures, Soil structure Interaction (SSI) and so on. He has completed retrofitting design of vulnerable structures for both RCC and steel structures to strengthen in terms of capacity and performance. He has a striking command over some Finite Element software such as CSI ETABS, CSI SAP 2000, CSI SAFE, STAAD.Pro etc. He also has good hand in drafting using AutoCAD for any critical drawing. He is an adroit user of Microsoft Office suite.

He is also capable to understand and apply several International Codes such as ASCE 07-10 (Wind and Earthquake Load), ACI 318-08 for seismic vulnerability assessment and retrofitting. He has almost One year of experience in the field of structural design of buildings, structural integrity assessment and drafting drawings. He is an associate member of The Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh.
